Just lounging around today.

It's really rainy here in Virginia and FM is still a bit under the weather. I hung out with her most of the day watching silly reality shows. I don't understand some humans!!

~~~Progress report on Levi~~~

We are going on week three with Levi in our busy home. Here is what we have figured out. Levi was an owner surrender to a shelter in West Virgina. He was very timid and reactive when we picked him up. We waited over a week to introduce him to our dogs. He has since been integrated with little drama into our pack. We have both female and male dogs and he doesn't mind either unless he is sitting on a humans lap. Then he is possessive of the human and will growl but has never lunged or bitten and responds to no. He appears to be livestock friendly as well. We have chickens and he doesn't chase them. All of our dogs are separated when fed so I am not sure about food aggression, he will allow a human to take food from his bowl. Levi loves to go for walks. He walks about two miles every night with the Jack Russell. He also loves the car. We take him for rides whenever we go to a dog friendly place. I am also happy to report that Levi is a smart cookie. House training is coming along wonderfully. We are three days accident free. Not too shabby for an older dog!!

Busy day today all. The humans made a big mess. It's finally quieting down a bit so I'm hanging out with FM and Stella (she is vision impaired as well). Naps are GOOD!

FM is wrapping presents on the bed.. All I want to do is sleep under the covers and look what she did to me! OMG the humanities! Please save me!  Maybe it's not that bad but...

ADOPT LEVI~~ Holy Buckets!!!! My house is BUSY!!!

Morning Everyone!!!!! FM (Foster Mommy) needed a little break from getting the house together so I told her to come and post a new picture of  me. SOOOOO- the house is crazy busy today. I'm not sure what all the fuss is but it's WAY better than the shelter busy. I'm just a little guy in case you haven't noticed (about 20 pounds) so I get a little overwhelmed when a lot is going on. FM brought an extra crate out and I LOVE it. 

Having it out in the living room makes me feel secure. I can go in and out whenever I want and I can still see everything going on. The big dogs have these really cool beds but I am not into them. I think the open crate is much better. I have only been here two weeks so maybe when I get a little more settled I'll try those beds out. What I like most is sitting on a humans lap. I go right to sleep. You don't even have to pet me. Time for FM to get back to work. Hope you all have a wonderful day and we will try to check back in tomorrow!!!

ADOPT LEVI~~ I really have my own blog??

OK, so my foster mommy said she was going to wait until after Christmas to post up but I talked her into a quick post and picture. She said she will post all my important details in a few days. Just quick updates until after the holidays.

 I am settling into my foster home nicely. These big mastiff foster sisters are huge but pretty nice to me. The Jack Russell is just my size. He even let me borrow his reflective coat for our evening walks, I LOVE walks. I got a package in the mail today. Jessica from blind dog rescue is an angel. She sent me my very own collar and leash. OH, and an adoption packet! Lots of very cool stuff to go with me to my new forever home. If you know where that is could you please send them my info? I like it here but would love to get to my forever home as soon as possible so another blind pup can have this foster spot. Gotta go, I'll try to talk FM (foster mommy) into finding a few minutes to post tomorrow.
